Little Jewels
When we went to Tampa for the PPA conference back in January, we picked up a vendor of photographic jewelry. Our first order has arrived and the items are really cool. I'm not a jewelry person, so I left this endeavor up to the ladies in the office, but I have to admit, they're cool. Hey guys, they even have stuff for you, like tie tacks, cuff links and money clips. They would make a perfect Father's Day gift wouldn't they ladies? If you see Sue or Amanda around town stop them and have a look. They are wearing the samples.
One of a Kind
I love our new wedding album company. Not only do they have awesome quality and environmentally friendly packaging, but the choices of different cover materials combinations are almost endless. I will post photos of many of the albums as they come in just to show you the tremendous variety available. Each album is truly one of a kind.

Triple Double
I've been working on a few sets of twins photos tonight. We're collecting stories and have begun the layout of the book. It's nice to see things starting to fall in to place with the book. We're planning on celebrating the completion of the book with a gallery reception at the studio to inaugurate the book.

Rochester Business Journal
I had the honor of being interviewed by the Rochester Business Journal for a weekly feature on young(ish) entrepenuers. The article was in last Friday's edition. I tried to get a copy on to the blog since there is no online version, so if you click on the image below you can read the enlarged version.
Hometown Boy Wins Big
Donny Lia, a driver in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, won his first ever truck series race Saturday in Mansfield, OH. Lia is from my hometown of Jericho, NY on Long Island. This is his first year in the truck series, coming up from the NASCAR Whelen Modified tour where he won the championship last year.
Congratulations Donny!

Mazel Tov
Daryn and I photographed Rebecca and Jeremy's wedding today at the Inn on the Lake. It was a romantic Jewish wedding under crystal clear skies on the north end of Canandaigua Lake. We had the pleasure of working with an awesome band, Brass Taxi, under the tent at the Inn. I could think of a worse way to spend the day than with a fun couple, gorgeous weather and one of the best views in New York. I had the opportunity to play with Daryn's custom made Infra Red digital camera. It's a modified Nikon D70 that was a lot of fun to play with. Two of Daryn's images from the camera are shown below.
Patrick and Allyson
I just got back from Utica after shooting Patrick and Allyson's wedding. What an awesome day. The pace was relaxed. The locations were awesome. Patrick and Allyson were super cool. What else could I ask for? The highlight of the day was going to the Utica Train Station. The architecture was incredible, as was the lighting and of course my favorite, trains. I wish we had more time there and access to the steam train that was there. Now it's time for bed. That's about as far as I would want to go without considering it a multiple day event. I'm exhausted.
