Amanda's Blog

Since Sandi's death back in November, my blog has become a very personal form of expression for me. Amanda has been posting some of her work on this blog as well, and rightfully so since she is doing some great images. Over the weekend I created her own blog for her so she can post her work and her personal thoughts, and stand out on her own. I encourage you to book mark her new blog and visit often to see a truly talented photographer. Her blog url is http://amandaatcheslerphotography.blogspot.com/.

Brides Needed for Morning Show

On March 3, we will be featured live on the WHAM13 morning show, right here at our studio. We will be doing three different Trash the Dress sessions between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. We are in need of three brides interested in participating in this event. If you would like to do a free Trash the Dress session, whether or not I photographed your actual wedding, e-mail me at steve@cheslerphoto.com.

Another Boy!

~By Amanda Lee~
My sister had her baby, and another boy! All boys, is that a blessing, or a curse?

Kolton is very proud of his baby brother-he wanted to name him George-mom and dad thought Mason was a little more fitting.

Congratulations Adrienne and Ben!

Another baby boy!
My friend Monica had a little baby boy, he's one month old now. He's so cute-
and already showing off his big muscles!

Mighty Mites

Cade played in his first hockey tournament this weekend in Auburn. Although the team went 0-2-1 in their three games, it was a lot of fun watching the kids play and hanging out with all the families at the Holiday Inn in Auburn all weekend. Sunday's game was a nail biter with Canandaigua holding a 3-1 lead until late in the game when Lysander came roaring back with three third period goals. Canandaigua goalie Noah S. was outstanding, stopping many breakaways. Monday's game was another exciting one with the Knights rallying for a 4-4 tie against Auburn. Caeden S. was the Knight's goalie for this game and played awesome as well. Noah K. was a scoring machine.

Twins

We've started photographing our twins sessions for the upcoming book. The Daily Messenger ran a news brief on the project and we received a nice response from it. Channel 10 may be running a story on it as well in the near future. If you have a set of twins and would like to participate, call the studio at 585-393-9242. The session is free along with an 8x10 in exchange for permission to publish them in the book, along with a short story on their twin experience. Here are some of the photos we've done so far.

Baby Day

~by Amanda Lee~
Ok, so I will probably be severely repremanded for including way too many photos, but I had the cutest group of babies in the studio this weekend-I just couldn't help myself!
So in no particular cuteness-here they are. Enjoy and I can't wait to see all of you again!

I Miss You

For Christmas we bought Sarah the Karaoke machine that Sandi always wanted to buy her. Sarah used it to sing a song with her idol Miley Cyrus (aka., Hannah Montana) called "I Miss You." I thought it fitting to create a slideshow using the song and photos we've been collecting of Sandi. Without further adieu, here is Sarah Chesler and Miley Cyrus singing "I Miss You".

Branding Chesler Photography

After returning from Tampa we have decided to give a new look to our marketing efforts, from our packaging and promotional material to our website. The new look is geared to branding our logo wrapped in warm earth tones. Thanks to Ellen from Lake Effects Web Design, our website has maintained the clean look and flawless functionality that it has always had, while adding a warm and inviting feel. Let me know what you think...Cheslerphoto.com

Going Outside

~Amanda Lee~

So thanks to some great Upstate New York weather, it was warm enough to play outside a little this weekend. Well, let's clarify warm in February. It was warm enough that the ice wasn't mud, but it wasn't slippery ice either. My boys have had some serious cabin fever being couped up inside. So we played on the skating rink that used to be our driveway, played a little hide and seek, and ran around in the neighboring corn field. Ah...how we love the country!
