Orange

After Friday's wedding with Mike and Sarah, I got up early the next morning and drove to Massachusetts to shoot a wedding with Rich in Hudson, MA. Mark and Alexis got married in the Dominican Republic May 5th. They had their reception at the Charter Oak Country Club yesterday. What an amazing venue!

The wedding colors were light blue and orange (pronounced R-ange in New England). One of the guests had a beautiful orange Dodge Charger that we photographed the bridal party with. We had a blast. Now I just have to figure out how to get people to take us to the Dominican Republic. :)

Sarah and Michael

Back in October, I photographed Sarah and Michael in Watkins Glen State Park. We had a blast. It's so hard to believe the wedding came up so quickly. Ellen, Jocelyn and I photographed their wedding with them on Friday at Belhurst Castle. I love the story of how they met. Mike is a police officer and Sarah is a nurse with a lead foot. Need I say more?

Meagan and RJ

On May 22, I photographed the wedding of Meagan and RJ at Norton Chapel with the reception at my home away from home, Belhurst Castle. Rochester photographer Kristina Juodyte photographed with me, even though she shoots Canon. :) We had a great time playing outside on a sunny but windy day. The bridal party was a blast, all 32 of them. It was the biggest bridal I have photographed in quite some time. Congrats Meagan and RJ!

Sleeping with Clients

I generally have a rule about not sleeping with my clients. My wife usually doesn't like it, but this time I made an exception with her approval. I was photographing the cutest little Bulldog puppy, when right in the middle of the shoot, he got up, walked over to me, curled up on my arm and went to sleep. I'm not a dog person, but this little guy stole my heart. He was so cute and wrinkly. At the end of the shoot he peed on my backdrop so I sent him home.
